Studio la Città is continuing the research activity it began ten years ago in Venice and is organizing, concurrently with the 58th edition of the Venice Biennale, the exhibition Recursions and Mutations with works by Vincenzo Castella, Lynn Davis, Jacob Hashimoto and Roberto Pugliese. The show examines the processes of reiteration and change in the poetics of four artists and investigates how the process – which includes repetition, its validation, and the successive act of deviation/mutation – can be used as an analytical device for examining the reality that surrounds us.
